LaxMas Bash Lacrosse Tournament“Great Fun For All” |

December 29, 2007 (Elma, New York)
Divisional winners included; Tavares Division, Oshawa (Canada), Craig Division, Niagara-Wheatfield, Powless Division, Orchard Park, and from the Smith Division, Hamburg. The Semi-Final Games were unbelievable with great play from all the advancing teams. Niagara-Wheatfield clipped Oshawa and Orchard Park edged out Hamburg to Advance to the Championship Game. |
The championship game was also a great contest with the lead changing hands several times throughout the game. The game ended as a tie at the end of regulation as Niagara-Wheatfield, down by (1), came back to score, seconds before the final tick, tying the game at (12) and taking the game into sudden victory overtime. In sudden victory, both teams had several great opportunities, however Niagara-Wheatfield capitalized, ending the game and winning the tournament 13-12.

Player’s Sports hosted the 2nd Annual LAXMAS BASH at Sahlens Sports Complex, located in Elma, New York on December 29th. The event included 16 Teams from New York’s Section 5 and 6, as well as Ontario Lacrosse Programs. Teams were seated in four Divisions, with the best team from each of the four divisions advancing to the semi-finals. Coaches from various colleges were also in attendance to observe and converse with those coaches and players in attendance. Parents and Players also got their fill of fun and entertainment.
At the conclusion of the tournament, coaches submitted feedback and discussion on top players. The list is available at MyPlayersSports.com, under All Tournament Teams.
